Final Expedition

(DAY1)

*woke up at 6,00am

*leave OBSABAH at 9.30am

*travelled 200km from OB SABAH

*2pm reach Kinabalu Park
*18°C There at 1555meters

*amoung the clouds at this height

*rest there for 1 night

Today is the start of mt.kinabalu climb...we took a bus up 1555m and slp there for 1 nite...it was cold!...there were well bulit rest house there...bought some stuffz at the shop there...glovez face mask(beni)...haha and i found out tHAt tHEy Also Got SeLl ConDom!!! whaha so hight up Ppl Also WannA Do lol!...

OB SABAH 20 December 2004

*woke up at 5.30

*trek for 2+hours b4 reaching OB SABAH

*reach liaox bath and slack until 12pm

*Rafting Got over all 1st place out of 3 match 1st/2nd/2nd

*rat inside bunk!

*bee hive found outside bunk!

*pack bag for the FINAL EXPEDITION (MT.KINABALU)

DAY3

Today we woke up at around 5.30am and went off at 6am from the villager house...the other group only leaves at around 8am...Heez tink my group kiasu wanna reAch BAck EariEr...reach OB SABAH at 8.30am.Wash up then ZZzzz until 12pm then woke up For lunch...tHEn WE HAd RaftINg! my group got 1st overall from the mini competition...

After Dinner around 7.30om we had a FINAL EXPEDITION (MT.KINABALU) briefing in the meeting room got air-con!

DAY2

Culture Exchange

*woke up at 6.30am

*prepared breadfast meggi and eggz

*pack our thingz

*leaving camping place at 10am

*trek down hill to another side of the hill in 2.3hours

*12.30pm reach the village

*had to stay at a villager house...

*tHE MaLays girls thEre are CutE! bigg Eyez CutE SmiLe...only some know how to speak english

*At nite we had a Culture exchange nite where one of the family host

*The choir from dunknow what church perfOrm For US it Was gr8!! (those mAlay boyz Was DroolIng!) tHEn THEy PErForm Some traditiOnal muSic And Dance And We Are invITed to Try

*After THAt THEy pRepAred tHE tradition Food for us (NIce!)

*Sleep at a villager house...for that nite ZzZzz

*5.30am Woke up

*6am P.T

*7.30am BreadFASt asfTer tHAt pAck bag for Land Expedition

*took van to the starting point

*12.30 reach

*trek up the hill for about 2hours

*5.00 lunch is ready

*cut bamboo to make dinner

*ZzzZz

while we were up there is was cold...as the wind blows u chould feel the chill...there was many bamboo to cut...You MUst cuT tHE frEst 1 THen ez to Cut...USed pArAng =D...tHEn If u USe bAmboo you muSt Cut A hoLe in bEtween...Cox Air will expandz As u heat it ...Around evening i had a ChAnce to Catch a gimps of tHE SunSet nICe!

tHEn At nite...tHE SkY iS So clEar that ALl tHe StArs Can BE Seen...Saw tHE ARRow head star formattion...and my instruct told me long time ago ppl use that to tell where is their north...

*It was low tide and the water was crystal clear and we can go 100m but still at knee lvl...touch some coralz and collected some back =D
